- GoDaddy has partnered with online payment solution company Paze to help streamline its checkout and provide a more convenient shopping experience.
- GoDaddy is the first website builder to integrate Paze, a service that allows customers to skip manual card entries and passwords.
Website builder GoDaddy has announced its intention to partner with online payment solutions company Paze to streamline its checkout page. This new integration will allow customers to complete their purchases even faster and reduce the amount of abandoned carts, thus leading to more conversions for GoDaddy merchants.
Founded in 2015, Paze is a digital wallet service that allows customers to skip manual card entries, thus optimizing the checkout. Paze is partnered with other 150 million eligible credit and debit cards, meaning customers can simply pay at the checkout without having to create or present a username or password, meaning the entire transaction can be finished in seconds.
For small business owners using GoDaddy Payments, this means that more transactions can occur without the customer abandoning the purchase due to slow, disordered checkout services. As Head of Payments Products at GoDaddy, Saurabh Mangal said in the announcement,
“Abandoned carts are difficult to convert after the fact, so it’s vital to get the checkout process right. GoDaddy Payments’ partnership with Paze will aid small businesses in streamlining their customers’ checkout experience and help close more sales.”
Digital wallets like Paze are becoming increasingly popular, especially in conjunction with alternative currencies such as Bitcoin or crypto. Digital wallet use has jumped from 14% in 2014 to 32% in 2022, with a prediction to reach 41% by 2026.
The benefits aren’t just for the customer either. A better checkout means more conversions and more growth for GoDaddy businesses. According to GoDaddy, small businesses using GoDaddy Payments save over 20% on card processing compared to other leading providers.
Currently, Paze has been piloted to a select few US businesses on the GoDaddy platform but promises a full rollout will happen soon.
